Pedeville Announces Campaign for Goliad County Judge
Corey Pedeville has officially announced his candidacy for Goliad County Judge, bringing 16 years of distinguished military service and proven business leadership to the race.
"I've spent my career being accountable to my soldiers, my employees, and my family. Communication is the only task you cannot delegate. I intend to bring that same commitment to every department and every citizen of Goliad County."
Corey is a proud U.S. Army veteran with three combat deployments: Iraq (2010-2011), Afghanistan (2012-2013), and Saudi Arabia (2024-2025). During his most recent deployment, he became one of only a handful of soldiers—and the only Staff Sergeant—to receive both a Meritorious Service Medal and an Army Commendation Medal with C Device.
His military career includes graduating from multiple leadership academies, winning his unit's Best Warrior Competition in 2018, and serving in roles from Team Leader to Brigade Operations Sergeant. He earned both Gold and Silver Spurs while assigned to the legendary First Cavalry Division.
"Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments. Goliad County deserves leadership that sets clear expectations, follows through, and holds itself accountable to taxpayers."
Beyond his military service, Corey has built and operates seven successful businesses generating $13-15 million in yearly revenue with 25-39 employees. He manages seven full-time office staff daily and understands the real-world challenges of budgets, personnel, and long-term planning.
Corey has been married for 15 years and is the proud father of four children. His wife is a recipient of the prestigious Yellow Rose of Texas award. The Pedeville family is deeply rooted in their community and committed to building a stronger future for Goliad County.
